Water Softner

I live in the Texas Panhandle and have been looking for the soft water powder or solution you guys are saying works in the holding tanks but can't find it---help !!!

Calgon seems to work best for use...get it at Wal Mart with the laundry stuff.

Unfortunately we can't get Calgon in AK. We have found Cascade to be a good substitute.

The super markets or Walmart do not stock Calgon in our area so I will use the above listed web site which seems to be a reasonable price--Thanks for the help---

A cup of any dry powdered automatic dish washing soap works just fine.
