Another Winterize ? - Outside Shower
I winterized my Monty. Then remembered I forgot the washer. Went back and winterized it. Now I remembered that I pumped pink stuff thru every water line except the outside shower connection. Should I go back and pump some pink stuff thru those lines also?

Yes you should do the sprayer outside also, the hose and spray head are full of water and will freeze and possibly burst.

Mine came with a blue hose quick disconnect, I just hooked it up then dropped the end back into another bottle of pink stuff once it started coming out which will be quick since the rest had been done.

I did not have to winterize mine. We live in Florida. HOWEVER. The back of the shower either split or come apart and it flooded that corner of the rig. Thank the Good Lord it occurred while we were at the MOC Rally in Goshen. The people at Keystone Service fixed it and dried it out plus other check ups. Thanks to Stephen Holmes all items were taken care of. Thanks to Keystone for all their help. As for the outside shower, I can do without it.

Yes you should. Just let it run until both hot and cold run pink, just like the others.

Mine has the blue hose quick disconnect also. I will try your recycle method.

I disconnected the two lines to the shower and plugged them. Never ever used the shower and don't intend to.

I don't plan on any outdoor showers. But I have used it a couple times when cleaning the grates for my grill. The hot water helps with that and it is easier than taking it inside. Otherwise, I never connect the hose. And I guess if I ever camped at a beach, it would be handy to wash the sand off.

Works great if you have a dog that gets into the mud!

Or grandkids who play on the beach.
Yes, the outside shower should be winterized or detached.
Don't forget the checkvalve behind the screen on the city water inlet. Either disconnect the line behind it to remove the water or remove the screen and press the white pin to release pressure and remove the water. Otherwise it may freeze and push the o-ring out of place (been there).
