HDTV addition

I know it's been done before but Radio Shack just lowered the price on this set, LCT2785TA to $549. The specs are good, and the picture looks great and it fits in the opening(27.25") occupied by the Sanyo that came with the 3670. I haven't made the final installation yet but I plan to bolt the base to the sliding platform such that I can remove it easily during the winter.

You will LOVE the HDTV, we have a 32" HDTV and I removed the base and mounted it to the platform which sides out and it fit perfect. I must admit I made a measurement mistake thats the reason I had to remove the base. We can't remove it very easy, however we live in our Condo on wheels. GBY...

P.S. We also have a HDTV in the bedroom......... We also have the AKAI, and it has a great picture. Got it at SAMS last Sept. when we sold our stick house we sold our 42" Sony and we think the AKAI has just as good as a picture....

I have looked at Costco lately and the LCD HD tv's have really started to come down in price so after our Monty is delivered I can see LCD HD tv for the bedroom with in a year. We just got HD in the house a just love it. It is like you are right there.
