Fridge on the Road
Does anyone run their fridge when traveling on the road? Do you run off of the battery and not off the propane? We have a neighbor that tells me I should run off the propane. Your thoughts. Thanks

Yes, we run it when travelling...that's the way it is intended to work. The manual says to turn it off when refueling.
Your refrig will not run off 12v alone (some do, but not ours). You do need 12v power for the electronic control to work while running off propane.

I run my fridge on propane while on the road. Have not had any problems yet.

We just leave ours om auto and when we are plugged in it uses electricity. When we unplug, it switches to propane. Not a problem.

Same as adelmoll and jrgwdenner.
See another Montana or Mountaineer on the road? Flash lights twice, it might be one of us!
