I don't think anyone said you could not pull it. It is a question of SAFETY and LEGALLY. Don't know what year your Montana is but the five year warranty on your frame is voided by "beefing the frame up" My F-350/CC/LB plus the 3400rl plus a Honda Civic in back of that would not be legal in Ohio And no doubt some other states. I wish I could legally and safely pull my Civic behind the Montana. My best guess is that sooner or later you will be arrested for towing as you are. I know that I could make some mods and pull the Honda behing the Montana but I do not care to take the chance not to mention the legal problems should you be involved in a At fault accident...

It appears that some have their own ideas and no amount of persuasion consisting of legalities is going to change their minds. I would never attempt to pull a car behind my Montana as a fulltimer.
