new member tv

hi everyone. i've owned other rv's but when i got my 2018 high country 379rl
the sales person said the tv is a special rv tv (Furrion) and i could not put my home smart tv in it. i've always had a better tv in my home than was supplied with the rv's. i have always put my home tv in the rv and have never had any problems. has anyone ever heard of such a thing?

thank you for any info.

First, welcome to the forum! In our old rig we did have a special TV in the bedroom because it was a 12v tv. In our new rig, both of our TV's are 110 so we can put anything we want in here, but we are very happy with what came in it. That said, these aren't Furron's so I don't know how good those are.

Welcome to the forum!

You will not have an issue with any TV although I would stay away from a ROKU or smart TV that requires a web connection.

They will work without a web connection but not as cleanly as a TV that is set up for OTA or cable box. Would happily get rid of my ROKU TV at home as is take an extra step to get to cable.
