Fla Native's experience with the drawbar being stolen off Lady Ram reminded me of a couple of people who had their fifthwheel tailgates stolen. I don't know how it works on Dodge and GM trucks but on my Ford it's very quick and easy to remove the tailgate. Apparently those folks came out from Walmart to find their tailgates gone. I looped a bicycle cable lock through my tailgate and through the access/tiedown holes at the corner of the bed. It's hardly noticeable but makes me feel better. Someone could still cut the cable but they'd have to have bolt cutters with them, so at least the lock might deter some thieves.
