Winter Home

Any one looking for a winter home, there is an opening at Nails Creek State Park on Lake Somerville, Texas. Contact Heather Heatherly, Site Manager at 979-289-2392, daily 8:30 - 4:30. One opening left at this time. We are now and for the past four years been Park Host at Nails Creek during Jan & Feb.

No Alligators here, at least none that I have seen in the last 4 years, just good fishing. Park does not have any signs posted for Alligators presents. Now Huntsville State Park is a different story.
