Air compressor size
What size air compressor do I need to fill my sailun tires to 100-105 psi? Looking at a Craftsman 6 gal. Rated 150 psi and 2.6 scfm @ 90 psi.

That will do the job, think it's the same as my Porter-Cable that I use to fill my 17.5s to 125 PSI

That is more than you need. It will work fine filling your tires and much more.

I have the Craftsman, 150psi, works fine G rated tires at 110. I have actually had Craftsman 150psi since we began RVing back in 2005.
Happy trails.

I have a Schultz 7.5hp 24cfm’s 80 gal tank. Well it’s the cats meow for my garage, at 700lbs it a little heavy to load in the RV. I also have a small dual tank Ridgid compressor that puts out a little over 4 cfm’s. that I take camping with me. Three things to look at when buying a compressor. Cfm’s for how fast it works, psi for how much pressure you need (min 125), and tank size for how often it kicks on.
Most any of the small pancake compressors will fill your tires to 110lbs and do a few other light tasks. If you want to run any air tools you’ll need to step up to something like my Ridgid, and even then it’ll only handle light duty short work cycles.
With the price of small pancake compressors being so low I don’t know why everyone doesn’t own one. One would be surprised at how often and how many different tasks you will use one for.

Many use the Viair 12v pump. I bought the new 60v Dewalt cordless pancake compressor. I keep it in my truck toolbox. Remember, he who dies with the most toys/tools wins. I also keep a pin nailer for any trim that comes loose.

With two Monty's I have two. One is the Craftsman and the other is a Porter Cable. If they aren't the same unit, they're close enough and both work fine.

I have a Porter Cable and it works fine. As I get older, it is getting harder to get it out when needed. I am looking at getting a Viair 40047 400P-RV.

I have the Viair 45053 RV works on 12 volts. works great. takes up less space than an air compressor and alot lighter. they are a little pricey but well worth money in my opinion.

I just got a Forterss from Harbor Freight. It’s 1.2 HP, pulls about 780 watts. It will pump up its two gallon aluminum tank from empty to 135 pounds in 55 seconds. The frame is also aluminum weighs 34 pounds and is so quiet you can’t hardly hear it run. Price $160. A great little compressor.

Another endorsement for the viair. Being able to connect to 12v batteries adds a lot of travel flexibility and emergency management.
I do wish I had a 120 AC adapter for it though. I don't always want to have to battery connect. (Anyone have a good option for an adapter I can connect the battery clips to?)
I picked up a real air hose though. The curly hose, while functional, becomes a pain when you need to move around to 4 RV tires and 6 TV tires.

We haul around our Porter Cable and use a vair gauge that locks onto the stem. Bought the air gauge out on Amazon.

I have a small Blue Hawk two-tank compressor (120v AC) for the TrailAir pin box, and a Viair 450P-RVS (12vDC) for the TV and trailer tires. Both work great and stow easily.

I had the Craftsman 6 gal for years and it worked fine. Couple years ago I picked up on sale at Lowe's a Craftsman portable 120/12v that also runs on 20v battery. It's much lighter and takes up far less space and I can use it out on the road. It's a bit slower but still does the job just fine.
