NO, IT DOES NOT WORK!

I am on almost everyday and have never been on the map.

I had Greenacres, WA in my profile. I just changed it to Spokane, WA, thinking that maybe it needs to be a larger city like Spokane vs. the suburb of Greenacres. So we shall see if that makes a difference.

Thanks Patty, I guess changing my profile location from Greenacres(a small town) to Spokane(a larger city - 200,000) did the trick.

So I would recommend that if any of you are not showing up on the map and you list your location in a small town or suburb, try listing a larger nearby city.(Perhaps ADMIN could have someone adjust the mapping software to accept smaller sized cities & towns so those folks will show up on the map)

I was on yesterday and saw what members visited the site(not me I don't know how to do this)and went there today and nobody was on?

Gary try to change your profile location of Tonawanda, NY to Buffalo, NY. I had the same problem with Greenacres, WA. Changed it to Spokane, WA and it worked. I experimented after that and found that Liberty Lake, WA worked(that's our new home location) It seems that the small towns won't trigger the mapping software. Try nearby towns or larger cities and it should work.

As for no one on the map, could be a software or computer glitch. I just checked and there were members on the map now.

We live in Silver Creek,NY and it showed up on map. It is MUCH smaller than Tonawanda. Gary, did you click on balloon to see the name and town?

It is 4/9/08 @ 12:26 am and the map is empty - go figure!
Gary I think if you make the change on Tuesday, you have to wait until Wednesday for it to show(as long as the map is working)
Gary, I'm not trying to insult your intelligence, but you did go to your profile to change the basic info for the city location?

It would be pretty hard for you to insult my intelligence,saying that I did go back and check and it is changed to Buffalo and the map is blank at this time,but when it was up I did see other balloons.
