And in the meantime, your rig is sitting on his lot with diagnostic hours/$$$ built up.

If you can't get satisfaction, I'd be contacting both Marcus at Good Sam and also Trailer Life and their help line. I'd even let Marcus know you will be contacting Trailer Life if he does not give you satisfaction in his intervention.

I do believe they charge a storage fee, if you don't pick it up in a timely manner.

Let me explain what is going on.
I noticed the braking on the trailer was weak. So I took it into Camping World. They checked the wheels and told me that the seals leaked grease on the drums and braking mechanisms.
Plan was to replace the brakes.
It has been 2 weeks now, and I just got a phone call telling me it will not be ready before Monday next week. He also told me there will be an additional cost of $300 because they turned the drums.
I said, "What?" I did not give permission for an additional $300. He quoted a total cost of $1303.15 2 weeks ago. Not they are trying to add $300.
I told him I will not pay for anything I did not authorize. Well, they already turned the drums. It is hard for me to believe the drums are warped. It is a 2013, and I have less than 10,000 miles all on flat terrain.

I posted this issue on RV.net under the Camping World Service Department thread, and within minutes an administrator made contact with me. He wants to take this to his administration so he asked for my contact information. I am waiting for his contact now.

Thanks for all the advise.
I guess complaining on RV.net did some good. Two administrators there told me they would be contacting their administration.
It is Saturday morning, 9 am, and I just received a phone call from Camping World.
It was the senior Service Manager.
He said, "I just received a very disturbing email. I want you to know my employee made a serious mistake by adding on $300 without your permission. He is new and I guess I did not train him well enough. He is being punished. You will only have to pay the original cost that you agreed to."
Thanks Camping World for making it right.

Gimme a break. They ment to over charge. Now to blame it in somebody else shows what type of people they are. This sounds like the Roanoke Va Camping World or are they all like this. More reasons to NOT deal with CW. CW is the last place
I would buy a camper.

Okay, let me try this again. The original post was that CW wanted to increase the price of repairs due to "wrong parts" being originally ordered and some type of extra shipping costs. Then we get the "rest of the story" which involves turning the drums without getting prior permission from the owner.
Under the second set of facts I would not be paying the extra bill either! That would be like taking your car into the dealership for an oil change and then when you pick it up they inform you that they went ahead and flushed the radiator out because they thought it needed it, so the new bill will be $300 instead of $26.00.

Sounds like they did the right thing by you. Sometimes you just have to make sure they know what the right thing is.

In spite of the fact that they did not charge the extra $300 for turning the drums, $1300 for replacing the brake assemblies is simply highway robbery from the outset.
The 12"x 2" Nev-r-adjust brakes for 7k lb axles from Dexter retail for $167.24 each (and can be found elsewhere for a lot less, $300 for all four shipped to my door from Trailer Parts Superstore ~$60each +$60shipping, etrailer has them for a little more @ $332 +$15 w/5-day shipping for all four)
Glad that I know how to turn wrenches!

Overlord's reply "Glad that I know how to turn wrenches!" Boy Howdy you said it. I realize not all are mechanically inclined, but $1300 to remove/install 4 wheels, remove/install 4 axle nuts, remove/install 5 backing plate bolts per brake, splice 8 brake wires, plus like said @$300 for parts ... I'm just plain in the wrong business.
