Strange small wet spot on floor
I have a small wet spot on the carpet in the front bedroom. The spot is about 12" from the shower wall and about 12" from the outside wall. Overall it feels wet in about a 10" circle...wetter as you near the center of the spot, and actually feels closer to "damp" than wet. It is just starting to smell slightly moldy this morning (if I get right down on it). I can't feel any dampness near the shower wall or extending under the bed slide. I have a fan on it now. It has rained on us for 7 straight days. I initially thought it might be water coming in in the Schwintek rails as we extend and retract the slide. There are water pipes below the floor that feed the shower. There is visable leak in the basement and nothing is wet. Looking for ideas.

Nice detail in your discerption. Shower valve connections dripping? water running off slide when bringing it in wet? Put some water in fresh water tank turn on water pump let it build pressure make sure to get all the air out of the lines even the low point drains and go to bed listen for pump to build pressure again (might take some time if it`s a super slow leak) if it doesn`t this will eliminate the plumbing system so you can look else where. Do you find this wet spot only after a rain? Is there a roof vent pipe that runs up and out in the wall where the shower valve is? Water doesn't always follow a direct path to from where it leaks to where it exists. Keep a fan on it to dry it out so mold won`t grow. Other ideas I`m sure will follow. Good luck.

Trace the white pex pipes to your black tank flush,
Anti siphon vacuum breaker valve. Sometimes they are in the walls. Many are located under the bathroom sink but with your layout I would guess it's in the wall.
They are notorious for leaking. Does the wet sport correspond to when you flush your black tank?

How many water pipes are going up thru the floor to the shower? Hard to tell from the picture. If four pipes going up then it is very likely your black tank flush valve is in that wall with the shower fixture as Daryl said. Two for the shower and two for the flush valve.

wet spot update
Had a fan blowing in the spot while we were gone today and it is dry now. I will watch it for the next few days. The shower vent caulk on the roof looked good. My vacuum breakers are not located in this area. I am hoping it was water from the slide bracket. I think we are done with rain for now.
I appreciate all the suggestions for test to run. Thanks for the pressure test idea Bshgto! I might wait until we get home to run that one. The pics below answer a few questions from the posts above.

It kind of looks like water that came off your slide when you brought it in.

Since there is no 'path' of water and there are water hoses in the area, I suspect a small leak spraying up. I would try to get a borescope up in there to observe what is happening. worst case is to drill a hole but be careful the drill doesn't open up any water or hydraulic lines.

A problem such as this has many possible causes. I had water coming in on both sided of the bed during heavy rain. It's not nice to get up in the middle of the night and step on a soggy carpet. Turns out that at the bottom edge of the slide there is a strip of metal angle iron (aluminum) that was not caulked. Rain water was coming off the roof, running down the side of the slide and into the space between the metal and the fiberglass. Dried everything out very carefully and caulked the angle iron strip and no more wet carpet.

Another update
The spot dried out and did not come back.
Again - it rained on us everyday for 7 days - then the next 7 days were dry and beautiful.
My best guess is that the water followed the bed slide as i pulled it in during a rain shower maybe several days in a row. I doubt it was due to leaking along the seals during transit. Whether it was a one time event or a little bit of water for several times - i won’t know until the circumstances are duplicated in the future. Now i know what to look for.
I have seen many threads here like “I have a wet spot on my slideout” and I got concerned. I checked the usual suspects - bad caulk at roof joint, leaking around the window, bad caulk along the bottom - and those did not appear to be culprits. The water lines to the shower concerned me - even though i could not find or feel a leak. I figured if this issue was a weird gremlin of a leak - someone here would know about it.
I appreciate all the help and advice! I think this gremlin turned out to be a small one.

As you write this I had a thought. When we slide out the slides I go around and make sure the seals are going in the same direction. The seals will sometimes bend to the inside and to the outside along the vertical wall of the slide. I don't know if that transition is a place to leak but it seems logical to ensure the seal is straight.

I agree - I always check the wiper seals to make sure they are in the correct position to keep water out.
