I am sure Scott will be along but here are some quick answers

There is always a number of events scheduled plus informal ones as the opportunity arises. Here is a *LINK* to last year's agenda. There are unique things to do in the Couer d'Alene area which will be incorporated into the 2020 agenda.

Also it says Rally fees a little more than last year, what was the cost last year?
It was $10

Is it safe to assume say if you only want to attend say 5 nights that we can schedule a shorter stay?
Absolutely, the only restriction is staying longer.

We have not started on the agenda yet but last year's will give you an idea.

The rally fee last year was $10, it might be a little more this year. We don't know what the resort fee will be yet; I suspect $50-$60 per night.

Yes, you can register for a shorter period. There are 5 slots remaining.

I do not know $10 is a bit steep, LOL

Scottz, Hello Scott, this is DeWaine and Sharon from Oak Grove, OR and am sorry to say that we will not be able to make the rally this year as Sharon has changed jobs and can't get the time off. We are very disappointed as we were looking forward to meeting some of the members we see in the forum, but will just have to wait until next year. Hope next years rally will be somewhere close again.

Again we apologize for having to cancel.

Sincerely

DeWaine and Sharon George

Is there anyone that we can meet up with to turn over the mascot, Monty E. Elephant as we will be in Alaska during the western region rally. We will be departing South Carolina in March and will be heading towards Texas and then up towards Washington state to arrive in Vancouver, WA on 16 April. We will be in Washington State until the end of May before swinging by Coeur d'Alene on our way to Banff, Canada.

The resort has yet to open for the season; not sure exactly when that will happen. As soon as they open, we will get the final pricing and send out invoices.

Registration update

As of today, 53 of the 60 slots have been filled. We have seven slots remaining, but the resort will not hold them much longer. If you are thinking of registering, now is the time. See post 1 of this thread for registration instructions.

We will have pricing from the resort soon and will invoice members for the 7 days of the rally. Those with early/extended stays will be contacted by the resort for the additional payment.

Remember, the resort only allowed us 15 early arrival or late departure slots and those have been taken. Everyone else has been registered for 06/24/20 to 07/01/20 (7 nights).

The registration list with dates registered can be seen at the link in post 1 of this thread.

As we get closer, we will start the planning process and asking for volunteers.

Due to an itinerary change, we need to cancel our slot at the rally. We do hope you all have a great time at the rally. Thanks for all the work you do.

Wow this is cool we are already scheduled to be there from the 24th through the 28th. I guess we will not be officially attending the Spring Rally but I hope to be able to meet and great with you.
Happy roads to you.

Tom

Great news! Dan Huhn (dhuhn) has volunteered as the assistant wagon master for the 2020 Coeur d’Alene rally; his help will be appreciated.

At this point, we don’t know how the covid-19 virus will affect the rally plans. Stay tuned and we will let you know if rally plans change.

Stay safe.

Any thoughts as to cancellation of the event due to Covid 19?

At this time, we are pretty sure we will not be going.
