Bed Slide coming out uneven

The Bed Slide on our 2018 model 3561 won’t fully open. Coming out at an angle snd jams. Thoughts?

Look under slide and look for two gears, there is a bolt that goes through a square bar that connects to the gears.

Is the slide hydraulic, cable or Schwintek driven? I would guess cable and you have some broken. One broken cable usually allows the slide to go out evenly. Two broken on the same side would act like what you describe.

Thank you! Was afraid of that. I can’t even see cables. It looks like a up and down channel on both sides of the slide so might be a gear.

Your slide mechanism may be a Lippert Schwintek slide. Google that and you can find some isometrics and diagrams that might help. The pic below shows the rails on the slide for a Schwintek mechanism.

Also you may need to resync the slide. There are youtube videos that will show that proceedure.

Yes you are correct! Thank you. It’s coming in at an angle and will not fully extend nor retract. Looks like a service call in the am. Thank you!!!!!

Try resynching first. Here's a video from Lippert on how to do that.

Thank you. Yes watched that. Issue is the slide only goes out about 20% then binds due to the angle.

Thank you ALL for the help!!! I deeply appreciate it and love this group for the quick and thorough assistance. I was unable to get a service technician but was lucky to get a highly qualified repair person from about an hour away on the line. He saved me. He literally walked ME through how to find the motor and do the repair! On my 3561 I had to access the motor from inside, next to the bed. Removed a steel flange and pulled back the seals. What I found was the motor had popped up and the motor key was binding in the channel. I tested the motor snd worked fine. Re-seated the motor and reset the outside set screw. Put it all back together and now it’s coming in and out. Next step is to Resync as suggested. I’ll tell you that those RV repair folks earn their $$! Working in tight, hot spaces ain’t fun! Thank you all again! On the road again!!!
