Desert hiking with Mac and Kathy (WePull) MOC



Neat Saguaro on Saddle Mountain


2 tough mountain climbs yesterday with the tough Mac and Kathy, MOC members from Iowa, they are staying here at Saddle Mountain RV resort for the winter.

Wish we were there, but wouldn't trade it for what we're doing. Great that you have MOC friends there for the winter! Keep having great times and keeping us posted.

There are wild dogs, them Texas pigs runnning around, Coyotes, Mountain Lions, and many isolated campers, some in trucks, some tents, and you just never know what, or who you will run into. There are many reasons a single person camps 60 miles from Phoenix in the Desert, some reasons are not safe for Desert hikers. I am always armed. Mac is also.
