Where's the 12 volt plug
Another thing I can't find is the aux plug-in for a 12 volt item, ie: the winguard dome sattelite system. I got the sat. plug on the outside but where will I get power to run the dome? Also I noticed they did away with the outside shower, at least I haven't found one yet. I'd like to say I went over this thing with a fine tooth comb but it's only 20 outside and about 6" of snow all around the rig.

The only 12Vdc plug is the one on the antenna amp power box. Ref: your Dome satellite system, you will probably have to run power from the fuse panel to an outlet which you will install for this function. Good luck.
Ref the outside shower. I believe that was a buyers option. It sound like that option was not purchased on your unit. If you are handy it probably could be installed.
Again good luck.

Thanks John, I won't be installing that shower any time soon. I had a bad experience with the one on my old Monty. As for the 12v outlet I am thinking I could take out the basement light and install a plugin there.

Don't know about yours, but I have a 12v plug in the basement on the curb side.

I would not take the light out but tap in there. Just remember to check the fuse to make sure it is rated to handle the sat dome.

Thanks guys, I'll check that curbside basement area and see if I might have the plug already installed. If not then I'll do as you suggest John, and tap in to the light. I never did use the lights in our old Monty so I doubt if I will start now. Thanks again guys.

I installed a 12-volt plug right below a light switch inside the doorway.

We have a 2007 Montana 2955RL. There is a 12 volt cigarette lighter type outlet
in the basement, curb side for a basement TV is you so desire. Also another one in the
clothes right hand side top shelf.
Our unit has the outdoor shower cold and hot taps, but instead of the shower it has a
blue curly hose. This can be used for the black tank flush.
We have a sewer solution for draining our tanks, so this hose supplies the flushing water for the sewer solution.

Naaaa, I hunted all over that basement and I ain't got no plug in. I'll still look in the closet but if it was there it wouldn't work for plugging in the winguard dome. I thinkI will have to build a plug off the light in the basement. Does anyone have little door under the sattelite plug which is under the thing that flushes the black tank on the drivers side? Whats it for? I think I can put the plug housing in there.

Is that the door to store the sewer hose? It is about 10x6 approx.

Yes it is Racerjoe, thats10"x6" and about 12" deep. Thats supposed to be for the sewer hose. Don't hardly seem big enough for that. I have that tube next to the drain for a sewerhose. I thought I would just drill a hole in the wall of that opening and run a wire to the back of the basement light and tap into the wire.

That only will hold maybe a 10-12 foot hose, someone must have added that tube to store the hose. I don't think they came with them in 2004.So you could use that door for anything that makes you happy !!
