tire wear

I have a tire on our 5th wheel Montana 3400RL wearing on the outside. It is the front tire on the passenger side. We already put the spare on and now it is wearing the same way. What is wrong?? Any ideas what to do?? Thanks a Lot Have a Great Day Ron

Sounds like an axle alignment problem. Check the tire on the other side of the axle for wear too. Could also be a problem with the suspension. Check for broken or loose parts.
You could also do a search on the subject. This type of problem has been discussed in the past.
Good luck with it.

Been hearing a lot lately about poor axle alignment on Montanas. Take it to a frame shop and get the axles aligned, and the problem should go away.

There have been numerous problems by members on here including myself. Some have just had the axle straightened and realigned. Myself, I wound up having the axle replaced and haven't had any problems with it since. I took mine to an alignment shop that specialized in big rigs and RVs. So I would suggest taking it to a reputable alignment shop and have it checked.

I agree with the others....had the same thing happen to mine. Took it to a alignment shop for RV's and they fixed it. No problems since.

Adjusted pin box, replaced rear axle tires and balanced them. Problem solved.
