I did It!

Today,I spent quite a bit of money but I am so glad I did!
I got rid of my missions and bought 5 new Goodyear made in the USA tires.
I only had about 2000 miles on the Missions, but thanks to this forum and the wealth of tire info. and expertise plus losing sleep I went ahead and got rid of an accident waiting to happen. Thanks again to the good people of MOC.

I've looked at my tires and they look great but I should take a real close look at them and see just how old they are; I guess I'm somewhat afraid to look that close because of what I might find. I don't even know what brand they are; "my bad."

Here's hoping those new tires give you both great service and sound sleep.

Thanks Brad! When your time comes, don't forget that Centric Adapter. I think America's Tires were glad to get me out of there. I followed them around reminding them of where to place the jack, the Centric adapter, the Lbs. of torque, date on tire ,tire pressure,Etc,Etc! LOL

Ah yes, I keep forgetting about that adapter. I'm going to have to spray paint it on my forehead.

I went outside and looked at the tires on our Monty today. They are General tires and it says they are made in the U.S.A. Looks like a good thing to me. They look real good but can some one tell me more about how to look for the date on them and what is this adapter you all are talking about?
