UFO ?
The Russians seem to carry a lot of cameras with them.
Someone caught on video.
I think it's ball lightning since it's following the power lines.

They do seem to have a lot of dash cams. They got some good pics of the meteor that way also. Based on what was happening on the power lines I hope Russian RVers use EMS devises.

I read somewhere that there are a lot of dashcams in Europe (or Russia) because they need proof of who is at fault in accidents. Lots of bad drivers.

Maybe it's just me but the whole thing looked staged and fake.

I am like you, Pete. Those three cars stopped and every one got in front of the camera. Then just as quickly got back in their cars without even saying anything to the other people. And the 4th car goes by like nothing happened.
Guess I am just a natural skeptic.

I love my dash cam. As I reported it works well. Sunday I sent CHP a download of a "table flying out of a truck" on I5. They were very appreciative and hopefully the guys who got cars damaged will find it useful. As you recall, I bought it after my truck was vandalized at Christmas. It runs 24/7 and with a 32 gig card records over itself after 20 plus hours. I think we all should have them! Funny thing, the Ford dealer ask me to turn it off while servicing my truck. I said the hell I will. Why would you even ask? Reminded him I would know if it was turned off.

This could go on forever, speculation on what that was . Actually, that is fault current caused by wires slapping together. Wherever the problem occurred, maybe a car hit a pole which caused the wires to slap together, the fault current is traveling back toward the source, probably a substation. You don't see that much in this country because most utilities have fault protection built into their systems which can sense a phase-to-phase or phase-to-ground fault, and it will drop power momentarily to allow the wires to settle down, then re-energize the lines. Doesn't look like they have that kind of equipment or it isn't working.

If you watch u-tube any at all should give you some idea of how they drive over there. There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason for the way they drive.

Agree, seems very staged. Also what I was told by our Moscow office...insurance claims drive the dash cam craze!
