Pray!

Our thoughts, sympathies and prayers go out to those victims and families in the Connecticut shootings. What a horrible, senseless act of cowardness. It is so sad to see how badly the moral compass of our society is broken. GOD Bless all these families!

Les,

It's a sad day for sure. I can't fathom why anybody would do such a thing to children. The gunman is an evil person for sure.

Senseless killing by a deranged maniac. Sad that children and other innocents had to pay with their lives.

My prayer is that God would place a special comforting spirit
with the families of those involved in this tragic event!

Many people and children are lost to a senseless rampage that we cannot fathom. Prayers for the families and the community were lifted up as soon as I started reading about yet another tragedy that I can only attribute to this nations self imposed path of destruction (Sorry, trying hard not to evangelize here!). I have my convictions and try to rationalize a lot of these events based upon my faith and belief, yet not knowing the reasons for such acts always causes pause. The path this nation and this world is on is troublesome, and all I can hope and pray for, is that all of those affected can somehow find some semblance of peace in knowing that those children and hopefully all of those senselessly taken today are in the arms of Jesus, in particular the children who, I believe, are welcomed in his arms as untarnished! As a parent, I know that nothing can diminish their pain, yet I pray for some semblance of peace and comfort to envelope all of the families and friends that were affected. It has been a while since I have mentioned "Bonus Days" on this forum, but those of us who have again been granted another one, need to take this and every opportunity we have to cherish our loved ones and others even more, since you have been granted another "Bonus Day" that should not be wasted!!

Heartbreaking to hear this horrible news today. Innocent children and teachers lost to such senseless violence. Bless the teachers who acted quickly and bravely to protect the children who survived. Praying for all the victims families and all the surviving children whose lives will be changed forever.

99.9 % of the people are good! It is just a fact of life that we all have to live with the 00.1% also. I pray for the families who have lost members in this tragedy, but I refuse to allow this deranged segment of the population to dictate how I live my life.
