Ok while at the rally there was another post regarding Andersen hitches on another forum. As everyone here knows the subject has been beat to death multiple times. Well following the rally in Goshen I had appointments at Morryde and Keystone. When Keystone came out to fork lift my unit they noticed I had an Andersen adaptor on my king pin. Since the installed ball on the fork was in question as to whether or not it would scratch or damage to adaptor multiple people showed up to make a command decision. Long story short multiple Keystone higher ups that I would classify as gatekeepers publicly stated that Keystone engineering AND Lippert fully supported the Andersen hitch.
Now a few folks had some concerns regarding the Andersen supplementary warranty. While I did not have any experience with actual supplementary warranty I did have to file a regular claim with Andersen. They were responsive and provided me a claim number after sending a few photos they requested and answering a couple of basic installation questions to confirm I followed their installation instructions. They shipped me newer designed adaptor with the the set screws spaced farther apart and more equally spaced around the aluminum block. They worked directly with Morryde to replace my skid plate and install an additional gooseneck adaptor kit just above the shear spring.
So far the smooth, no chucking ride I was accustomed to has returned. I am satisfied that both Keystone and Lippert support the Andersen Ultimate Hitch without reservation and Andersen Manufacturing confirmed my opinion that they are a company that stands behind their product.
