Underbelly leak & water pump won't stop

We are new owners of a 2019 384BR! We have had it for a few weeks and went on one overnight camping trip. We hooked up to city water and saw that there was water pouring out from under the left side rear of the RV. At first, it looked like it was coming out of the fresh water tank release valve, but on further inspection, the water was coming out around the foam sealant around the fresh water tank release tube coming out of the trailer and the valve was closed. We turned off the city water and the leak stopped. We put some water into the fresh water tank and no leaks from the release valve. We turned on the water pump and the water flowed out of all faucets, but the pump never turned off. So we turned off the pump and decided to go without water for the night.

Waited 3 weeks to get into the Camping World service dept. only for them to tell us that they could not find a problem. When back at home we tested it again and the same problem happened when hooked up to city water and the water pump didn't turn off after we filled the tank 2/3 full and purged the lines of air. We are suspecting a broken or disconnected pipe...any other thoughts? We'd love to hear if anyone else has experienced this.

thanks!

How did you fill your hot water tank?

When you got it back from CW did it still leak out the bottom?

The first time we hooked up city water at the campsite, we bypassed the hot water heater and we found the leak. After we brought it back from Camping World, when we tested at home, we filled the hot water heater with city water and it still leaked (I should say poured out) under the trailer. We used a pressure reducer anytime we used city water.

Okay next step is to pull back wall of pass through storage and see if you can see where it is leaking. Dealers do not do a good job of troubleshooting.

Had a similar leak, water exiting from the foam surrounding fresh water tank drain. Ours is the 3791rd and directly above this area is the kitchen sink with all the Pex water lines. The red Pex to the stainless steel line was leaking.

If you have an intermittent leak it can be due to which water supply you are using. The pump may be a higher pressure than the city supply, or vice versa.

When not filling the water tank, lever should be in ‘normal flow’ position.
