purchasing a used 3670rl
I've read on other forums about problems Montana was having with the frames. I hear they went from a 8" to 10" rails. Is this true?? Should i measure the rails when i go back Friday?? I should be doing the deal from a private owner Friday 8/10. Can anyone tell me the problems your having with this model. Is there a technical service bulletin or anything like this i can look up??
Thanks for help..
Happy camping
Jim

You can call Keystone with the vin# and they can tell You if the recall work has been done to the unit. Those who have had the repair done feel the frame is stronger than the ones with the 10" frames. They add more steel around the spring hangers to stiffen things up. Haven't heard anyone having problems after the repair was done.

Another thing to consider is the tires wearing out on the inside due to camber on axles. Ours is an 03 & I just had the axles & tires replaced by Al Ko.

jjsj44,
We've had our 04 3670RL Big Sky since April and have made all kinds of trips--up over BIG mountains, hard pulls, hot weather, rough roads, and have never had any kind of problems with the Keystone trailer make. All our problems have been with after-market appliances and service problems. The trailer is well-built and a dream to pull.

I have an 03 3670RL and the only problem I had was with squeaking breaks. I've not had any problems with my axles or tires. Unit has been very good. If you have any additional or specific questions E-mail me.

I have a '04 3670RL and it pulls like a dream. Have a couple of problems that the service department at the dealership has taken care of (hopefully). We love the unit and really love the openess of it.

We have an 05 3670 and have had no problems with the unit other than the DVD player and the assist handle rubbing on the curbside slide. The dealer will take care of both after the camping season is over.
