Our thanks to Drifty1

Today we had a fantastic day. Larry and Debbie drove up from Olympia (2-1/2 hours) to Anacortes in Whidbey Island to meet us and be our tour guides for the day. They took us to places that we would never have found on our own.

The weather was picture perfect and we have now made friends with another MOC couple. Hope they make it out to our part of the country, so we can be their tour guides too!

Thanks Larry and Debbie!

Jim and Marge,
Larry and Debbie personify the MOC. Great people to know and willing to help at the drop of a hat! Happy Trails, Dennis and Mary Kay

Marge, we had a great time today and would do it again in a heartbeat. We were able to put 125 miles on the truck today just seeing the country around Anacortes,Bellingham and Laconnor. We were glad you could keep Jim under control long enough to stop and have lunch at Bobs Burgers and Brew in Burlington. And of course to top the day off as we were going into Bobs a nice young gentlemen held the door open for us and it turned out to be fellow members Michael & Shirley Ziegler from Burlington. It was nice that we got to chat with them for a few minutes before getting something to eat. Now it is our turn to wander over to the NE so we can tap into your vast knowledge of things to see and do in Maine. Hope you have a great trip east and drive careful. I know you can only do so much with Jim, but try keep him out of trouble....

Larry,

It's been 43 years and I am still trying to keep Jim out of trouble! Guess it will take a lifetime.... Glad that you and Debbie appreciated his humor!

Dennis,

Totally agree with you about Larry and Debbie, very special people. Everyone that I have had the pleasure of meeting have been just great. MOC people are the best!

Happy Trails to you too!
