Have you checked your AC fins to see if they are allowing the necessary circulation for efficient air conditioning? Mine became significantly flattened when a low hanging branch become "more low hanging" during a thunderstorm. Efficiency was really affected. I found a "FIN COMB" on the internet that I purchased to straighten them. The one I purchased has various "fin per inch" combs, so I have also used it to repair my home AC from the damage it has suffered from hail... as well as things hitting it from my mower. While you can get it many other places, the link below gives a picture and one source. The $'s spent were well worth it, and the straigtening job took less than an hour sitting on top of the 5th wheel (much of the time keeping the bees from me bald head!)

I hope this saves someone a trip to an AC repair shop!
