Hmmmm. ALL of the newer rigs come with LCD's now. Why shouldn't the owners of older rigs be able to adopt the same, newer technology?? As always, even though it goes against human (manly) nature, when in doubt, read the owner's manuals. All of my research to date indicates that as long as the LCD television is allowed to warm up to room temperature prior to being turned on that there is no problem, and personally, I am not convinced that that procedure is mandatory. If there are problems that we don't know about, rather than tell us to research it, it would be more appropriate to provide links so that we can be easily educated. This same discussion has been hashed and re-hashed since the LCD's appeared on the market. We have two in the rig, temperatures in WV get to below 0 degrees (F), and I do not anticipate having any problems. Please advise as to whether I am wrong. As a disclaimer, this is not provided as a factual proof, but rather what I have discerned over the last few years, and therefore I present as my opinion only.

That's a great job on that mod. Looks like there may even be some room for a small shelf over the printer for extra paper, etc..
Regarding the LCDs in cold weather. I checked with Samsung and was told not to worry about it. The problems with freezing temp's was with older screens. Current products were OK. One of mine has been through two winters in temp's well below 0 degrees with no problems. If you're concerned check with the manufacturer.

Nice mod. I agree with Ozz, it would be nice to have all mods in one place.

Nice job, Mitch, and thanks Bingo for going the extra mile for us.
I wonder how we could gather all the Tv mods, cabinet mods, hitch mods, any mod that has been done a few times in one place?
That way, we could choose the best way for our talents, type trailer, budget and so on.
Huh?
I know, search, but I am lousy at that. How do you search using multiple keywords? commas, asteroids, semi-colonies or what?
Jim, here is the link to the members show and tell that "Glen" started

A number of the first links no longer seem to connect to the photos.
