50 amp box

Well we finally got the 50 amp box installed on out out building. Nice neat job and when the place sells I can undo two screws and two breaker wires and the box goes with us for the next sticks and bricks if there is one. The box was a bit expensive as I had the electrician buy it and install it, 100.00 for the box and 125.00 for labor. This was cheaper than one of the "Big" local electricians, who would have charged over twice that cost on both. All we need now is the Big Sky.(still in the shop)... Dave

Glad you got it done, and done right, sounds like. It will be sweet, taking it is a great idea as well.

Ozz, part of the reasoning behind taking it with us is that since we won't have a site up here and a good friend has offered us a spot by her house. It is in her huge driveway on a lake and the spot is 12 feet away from the septic clean out, 15 feet from water, and 20 feet from a power box. We have already laid out the trench route for the cable and will lay the cable later this summer so that when we sell we can just take the pedestal there and just hookup. Now all we have to do is SELL!! Dave

Good luck on the selling, I worked all week-end, (every weekend) on the house, today, installed and painted 60' of trim and baseboard, plus tore up vinyl to install 'fake' hardwood floors in the entry, hung new light fixtures and on an on and on.....
Been on the Internet checking prices for our home here, and checking home prices in San Angelo Texas, just might move there...

Ozz, I know the feeling well. We did all the outside stuff last year paint, trim, landscaping. This year we are doing a new composite floor in the kitchen and moving more stuff out to storage. I thought we sold most of it before we left last fall, but when we got home the stuff we left had begun to breed and multiply. Now we need to do another yard sale and possibly STERILIZE everything we leave behind if it doesn't sell this summer... Dave and Betsy
