Need advice on water filter

Hi,

I am planning to mount a water filter on the cold water line under the kitchen sink in my 3295RK. Does anyone have any advice on what filter I should use? Also, what do I need to buy to connect the filter to the 1/2" plastic water line?

Thanks,

Glenn

Take a look at the Shurflo's, CW #'s 27873 and 27984. Or the Nature Pure CW # 20058. The first two have a flow rate of 1 GPM and the other is 1/2 GPM. Shureflo is supposed to remove; Bacteria, Chemicals, Chlorine [taste/odor], Cryptosporida/giardia, odor, sediment, taste, virus. The Nature Pure claims all of the above and lead. I don't know what fittings are needed.

I have a two cannister home unit which I keep in a plastic milk container outside the unit. In one side is a sediment filter and the other is a charcoal filter. Using it this way, the hot and cold are getting filtered water and the filters are easier to change.
