Surge Guards at Camping World

If anyone has been waiting for a better sale price on a Surge Guard, have a look at Camping World's Presidents Day sale (24 hours only). 50 AMP portable regular price 449 just ordered one for 199! Ongoing sale price is 339. This is as low as i have seen the 50 amp portable.

Progressive brand units have life time warranty.....
this is important. and worth the price difference.

What is the difference anyway? I just bought the Progressive Industries 50 amp hard wired unit with the remote display from Tweetys shipped for under $300. I thought the surge guard ones at Camping World were over $300 anyway?

I prefer the progressive, but if someone has balked at buying one because of the price this might be the time and Surge Guard is certainly a good unit.

Progressive preference here as well but protection 1st is a must and at $199. you get that.

Frank, back to your original post. The SurgeGuard 34750 is being replaced by a newer 34850 so that maybe why it is on sale. It is a good price.

Just ordered me one from Camping World. That is a great price even if it being replaced.

The newer 50 AMP TRC Surge Guard, the 34850, adds shut off for open ground and Thermal Line/Load Over=temperature

The old version 34750 provides all of the protection that many RVers have praised for years.

So if you do not have ANY power protection and money IS AN OBECT, as it is for me, you can have the device that has protected many RV's electrical components for years, at a big discount.

Having some type of Electrical Protection is the MOST IMPORTANT thing no matter what the brand is!! I am always amazed at the number of RV'ers that have nothing to protect themselves.

I'm selling (got it sold on my ebay account) my Surge Guard, who has the best price you know of on a Built-in Progressive?
That will go on my long list of installs and Mods I need to get done before my 7 month 15 day and 2 hour deadline.
(Probably leave here sooner)
