New Winegard HD Fully Automatic Antenna
Check it out.....this looks great for a whopping price ($399), which I am sure will come down.

Spent a ton of money on the traveler, but now that I get the locals with it, I can quit fretting about how to get better reception on the OEM antenna. On the other hand, it might not be that expensive compared to whipping out of the campground with the standard antenna up and a tree limb in the way.

Very interesting!! If our regular antenna ever as an issue or dies I would give this a lot of thought for replacing it. Like the part of the automatic tuning.

I believe Radio Shack has a circular antennae which can be attached to the stock Winegard ota antennae in place of the batwing antennae- I would have installed this antennae several years ago but there was not enough room for the circular antennae to rest in the down position- It was fully automatic in that you need not rotate the antennae to secure the best picture- Just crank it up and watch tv- It certainly exceeded the capability of the batwing- JMHO- Don
