Ladders

Good morning to you all, I just wanted to let everyone know that I received my Camping World add yesterday and they have those 7 ft double sided ladders on sale for 129.99.I think I paid 154.00 for mine , these ladders work well and are easy to store, I believe I made the purchase based on input from others on this forum and it has worked out great. Our CW hardly ever had them in stock , so they must be popular. Just wanted to let people know , its a pretty good savings. ..Scott

I have had the 7 footer like you describe for about a year. When stored in the front bay I had trouble getting it out when I needed it. There was always stuff on top of it. I didn't want to carry it under the belly of the Monty in a tube.

So to solve this problem I built a square tube out of 2 1x6s and 1/8" plywood top and bottom. This tube is not very heavy and you can slide out the ladder any time you need it and also have a good storage for any long handle poles you might have. Rounded the top ends of the 1x6s so nothing would hang up on them. Works very well.
