Skakle Upgrade help

Thanks to this forum, I checked and have discovered one of my shackles is completely broken. I have the Al-Ko 5200# axles.I believe I read about a "wet bolt upgrade kit". Does anybody have a part # and/or where to but this kit. Thanks George

George,

We will be glad to help, however, we will need more information. What is the model and year of your Monty. Also, the measurement between the centerline of your two axles. More info forthcoming.

If your axles are 35" apart, then you can upgrade with the kit found at this URL for $119.50: http://dexteraxle.com/inc/sdetail/1050

If you want to upgrade the equalizer to a shock absorbing EZ Flex, then you you probably want this: http://www.dexteraxle.com/inc/sdetail/18100

Just one hint. You may be able to get a cheaper price by calling Dexter and asking for the nearest supplier to your location. These suppliers buy in bulk and may offer a lesser price. I called a couple of different ones saving enough to pay for the shipping.

I have a small shock absorer mounted on an angle with each axle. Would this be the upgrade with the EZ Flex?

The info I posted earlier would be the info you need. Happy shackling..........

On Edit: Take a look at the second URL to see if that answers your last question.
