Water pressure regulators

I was reading on this forum about regulators and I read about one called the Watts series IR-56. I had one of the inline brass ones it put out 40lbs pressure but the flow SUCKED. The person (thank you)reported that with the IR-56 their flow increased so I sent for one.My shower is about twice as strong. This thing calls itself a Drip Irrigation Regulator, whatever it works for me.I ordered mine from the RV WATER FILTER STORE (They have a web page, but I'm not sure how to copy & paste. One more good thing about these people,I called them one day and the next day I had my item.

I couldn't find one I really liked, so I made mine from parts found @ Lowes or Home depot etc. Here is a

Picture

The flow is outstanding and the pressure is spot on.

Like Sunnyside, here's our set up...

In this CG we had nearly 80 PSI coming in and 60 PSI going out. In other CGs we've been as high as 110 PSI in and still 60 PSI going to the Monty. Lot better than the 40 to 50 PSI provided by those brass or plastic regs you buy at CW.
