In reference to your damaged counter top, what is the damaage? On delivery of our 2955 there was damage to the counter top. Thank goodness it was not busted or torn loose. The damage was about half way between the faucet and the edge. It looked as if someone had dropped a tool on it and knocked out a hunk of what they cover the counter top out of.
The options were to try to patch it or get a new counter top. We decided that replacing the counter top was out of the question. If it was busted up or real bad damage, Yes, I would have gone for the replacement. But ours was with the "Patch Kit
Jim Fisher, Manager of SunCoast RV in Pinellas Park, Fl. where we bought our unit said he could patch it with one of the kits. He did a fantastic job. Unless you get right down on top of it, after we point out where the damage was, you can not see it. The color matches perfectly.
Might be a little expensive to get Jim to come and fix it for you, but it can be done. Good Luck with your repairs. If possible stay away from the replacement. Them just never seem to turn out right. IF the damage is more than you can accept on their word to replace it, pass it up and get a different one. As stated above, once your pay for it and accept it, Now IT IS YOUR PROBLEM. Let us know the outcome.
