Winegard has a number of improvement to the original bat wing antenna. It's all about money and features. I like the new ones that do not have to be raised. Keystone says their test show the same signal strength as the bat wing. Make sure it's not near the front A/C

Dick, We upgraded our stock winegard with the Jack about three years ago. Much better reception and we get many more channels. Easily installs on the old winegard mast in about 10 minutes. Jim

Which model Jack did you get? Does the installation interfere with the front a/c?&

Dick, you just remove the pin that holds the OEM antenna on and slip the Jack antenna on, replace the pin and you're set to go. We put ours on about four years ago and pull in about two to three times more channels when on antenna. Extremely happy with it! It takes up less space on the roof than the OEM and folds down with no problem.

It is called a jack antenna replacement head. CW references model number 68415 and their cost used to be $45.

Bought the new Jack antenna head at CW. Because I am not able to climb I had a friend install it for me. I was not able to receive any more channels but the reception seems to be better. Should find out in about an hour because that's usually when the problems start. Thx all for your help.
