Do I need a slide bracket?

I have read on another forum some other brands need a bracket to support the slide when the slide is in and you are traveling. We purchased a new 315RLS Mountaineer and when we did a walk through the dealer commented we don't need a bracket. Wanted to verify if anyone knows if I should be using a bracket for my slide when traveling?
