Connection issue?

I have occasionally had a plug not fully plugged in.

Also it could be a polarity issue. All the LED's I've ever had don't work if they're plugged in backwards. Give that a shot.

Is this more than one light on the same switch? If so I would start at the electrical panel checking for a blown fuse, then move to the switch as I've had the faston connector come off of switches several times.

There are different manufacturers used, but most fixtures are held in place by two spring "ears" or wire loops on each side of the fixture. You should be able to pull down on the assembly to see the actual spring clips holding them in. John

Bedroom ceiling lights LED quit working

I have the same issue. One day the overhead bedroom lights were working and the next, they weren't. Both of the wall sconces work, as do the wall outlets. Checked the fuse, it was good. Replaced it just in case. Took a bulb from the bedroom light and put it in the living room light, the bulb is good. Went to RV store and bought a replacement switch and still no overhead lights. Can anyone tell me if these lights are daisy chained, or do they operate independently? Not sure if one light has an issue, will it affect the other three? Or possibly an overall wiring issue?

Thanks in advance,
Kim

Kim, starting point would be with a meter at the switch, is there +12V at the switch. If no the problem is somewhere before the switch, if yes and you know the LEDs are good, you much have a bad connection between the switch and the lites. Pull each lite down and reach up in and see if you can find a loose connection.

Bedroom LED ceiling lights

This is weird. I realized that my meter didn't read the low voltage and went to Home Depot to get one that would. When I came back, the overhead lights were on. I have flipped the switch numerous times and they still work. So it must have been the switch.

Thanks, Michelle and Ann for your help.

Or a bad connection. Time will tell. At least a switch would be an easy fix.
