From my last couple years experience with Chevy, you better buy some heavy winter gloves for the same reason as the heated tailgate.

Seeing that the Chevys are made in China now, I wonder if the owners manual will come in engrish.

Traded an '07 Duramax LBZ for my 2012 F-350 DRW King Ranch and couldn't be happier. Truck is awesome. Night and day difference from the Chevy, more power, and the Torqshift tranny is great. Much more responsive than the Allison I think. Enjoy your new ride.

My 07 is the 3.73 rear and it is great just wondering how the new 3.55 is?

I had an '07 6.0 3.73 and now a '12 6.7 3.55. Have only towed a few miles with it so far, but the new one seems tow smoother and with much more power than the old one. And the DW has commented more than once how much quieter and better it rides than the old one.

The new trucks have more power so they can handle the higher ratio rear ends better than the less powerful trucks.

My decision to move to Ford (2009) was also political/emotional. We have enjoyed every mile with it unloaded and towing. We always look for high-traffic fuel stops and keep oil and all filters fresh. Because of the stock cylinder pressure and sensitivity of the high pressure fuel system, I'll never modify fuel or air delivery on this truck. We are strong believers in buying everything we can, American made. The Kentucky truck plant is only part of why i like ford's business/economic plan.

No brand loyalty here either used to be a Ford guy but now have a Chevy and love that too, all the Big three are making great rigs! I just bought whatever suited my needs and got the best deal on
