Water level

How do you know when the fresh water tank is full,do not see a over flow or a vent. The idiot lights surely don't work for water level, have never used the tank yet, have a 2013 3100rl.Will do some dry camping this summer Thanks John R.

On our 3800, there is a small door and the vent is behind it. John

The indicator lights for the fresh water tank are actually pretty useful. Gray and black not so much, but with fresh water, there is nothing to inhibit the sensors. All of our rigs have been equipped with overflows nonetheless.

Agree, fresh water indicators have always worked for us.

Same here as far as the fresh water lights. On ours, based on the usual 30-40psi that the places we camp have it takes about 12 1/2 minutes to fill the tank.

Depending on the year of the unit, the overflow vent is usually on the driver's side of the unit near the back. As I said it depends on the year of the unit because most of the older units have a door that locks with a fill port behind that door and the vent tube comes out there. The newer units and if I'm not mistaken starting in 2013 units Keystone eliminated the outside fill port because of the intro of the convenient center and the switch-over valve to fill the water tank. The door and fill port has been eliminated and a half moon shaped cover is over the vent pipe on the rear driver's side of the Monte. As other have said, the lights on the command center inside normally are correct for the fresh water tank but those for the black and gray tanks are normally inaccurate!

On the newer units with no fresh water fill doors to the rear ... I've seen the overflow tube right next to the fresh water tank drain under the rear of the fiver.
