Lots of Humidity

With the high humidity/heat in Tulsa, my AC is doing a great job keeping the Monty cool--about 81 inside with outside at 100. But the rear AC is dumping a ton of water out and most goes over the roof and drips off the unit. BUT some water has found a path to the ceiling joint inside and to the rear of the AC and drips. I have cleaned the ac filter and raised the front of the Monty a bit but it still drips. I have not been on the roof in the heat because the weather will break tomorrow. Will go up there in cooler weather. We drove over from OKC in lots of rain--no leaks. I suspect a small opening between the AC unit and roof--any suggestions or just keep lookingNote--front AC works great as needed and no drips!

Most likely the AC has worked loose a little. Pull the cover and tighten the mounting bolts and see if that doesn't solve the problem. Also, while you're up there check for partially clogged drain holes.

The mounting bolts are generally inside. Remove the inside cover and you should find 4 of them. As Dick suggested the drain hole on the top may be obstructed

Thanks for tips. I will hold off until tomorrow--high will be 75! Better to have AC with a few drips vs no AC!

Set the fan on high and let it run constantly. It should dry out.

We are at Mingo RV Park. I tightened the screws from the inside--BINGO--NO DRIPS! Yes it was more than a few turns on the hold down screws. 8 years of travel has caused a few screws to get loose. But the AC works great! 75 for a high today but it will be in the 90's again before we leave.

I've also read that the gasket between the AC unit and roof deteriorates over time and does need to be replaced. Just an FYI .
