Door Lock Recall
According to RV Business there is a recall on RV door handles installed on RV's built between Jan. 2006 and April 2013. Due to a defect in them you could potentially be locked in

Have heard of that happening to others. They had to take the lock apart to get out. Good reason not to have all your tools in the truck or the basement.

It happened to me on my 2011 , we were camping at a local camp ground where i would go to work from the camp site. I would leave early in the morning, locking the door from outside with my wife still in bed.Well when she woke up and tried to get out she was locked in. to make a long story short she called the park office(after she called me and beat me up}
And they came, and she tossed them the extra set of keys, and they let her out.
Since then we have had the dealer replace the latch. So just to be sure, lock your mate inside and see if they can open the door, you might be surprised!!

That happen to us at the Quartzsite rally. I have always keep the proper tool in the Montana to get out.

A Phillips screw driver, a flat bar and a 3 lb maul. All work equally as well, but the screw driver leaves less marks..
