bedroom tv bites it

Well, I guess the Jensen television in the bedroom decided it was retiring. Video went out, still have sound otherwise I would have thought it turned itself off. So time to go buy a normal 120vac flat panel tv to replace it. The upside to this is that I will have a better quality tv that programs and changes channels like it was made in the 21st century instead of the 19th century! John

Was the old one 12volt? Mine are all 110 volt so I need to run the generator or hook up the inverter..

Our bedroom TV is also a Jensen 12v, but it's still working. I really, REALLY wanted to replace it right after we bought the Monty until I realized it was 12v - that's the only reason we've still got it.

We don't use the bedroom TV so when it goes it won't be replaced.

It is a 12vdc jensen. In our unit there is a ac plug nearby, so I don't care if the cord shows. I have only had it running perhaps ten times in its three plus years of life...but 20,000 plus miles on some not so nice roads didn't make its life easier. John

Would not be a big loss for me either,I have never watched it or turned it on,I do not know if it even works,if it is a Jensen it probably would not work for long,Just be thankfull that you do not have a SOB like my buddy with a Jensen or Furrion in the Living room as well

I'll have to give that some thought...

Easy way is ask it if it's still alive. If it doesn't answer, it's probably dead and can be tossed from pikes peak...or assume it is still alive and give it to someone that you won't see again. John

Thanks for bailing me out here, John.
I'll go with your recommendation

The Jensen 12V tv in the bedroom of our 13 3402 Big sky was a piece of crap. The sound sounded like the tv was in the bottom of a 50 gal drum. It lasted like 3 months and we replaced it with a real 120 volt TV.
