Slide tearing lino on 310RET
We have a 2015 Montana Mountaineer 310RET. When the slide comes in it tips forward and has put some major divots in the lino on both sides. Dealer says nothing he can do and suggested putting a carpet upside down on the floor between slide floor and lino when we bring it in so this doesn't happen. Does this happen with anyone else? First time I have ever heard of anything like this.

Dealer can not do a slide adjustment?? If the slide is tearing up the flooring, something is wrong. Worst we have ever experienced is marking on the carpet, and slide adjustment resolved.

A number of things this could be including nails or staples coming out of the bottom of the slide as well as slide adjustment. Call Keystone customer service and get a ticket started on it and ask for recommendations on where to take it that they can fix it.

Our slide was dragging, we took it to the dealer and they said the same, nothing they could do. When we where at the fall rally discissed it with the tech, they paid camping world to adjust. it. No problems since. It can be adjusted. They dont want to.

Keystone told me a few years ago, that slide adjustment is a owner responsibility, and dealer is only required to adjust one time if necessary at PDI/delivery. Not sure I believe that. Not difficult to adjust if you follow lippert instructions carefully. Have not tried to adjust a cable driven slide. Yours is brand new, dealer should fix.

We have a 2014 3850Fl. The kitchen slide was tearing the flooring under the refrig. area. Took it in under warranty. It was under repair for over three month this past winter but the entire floor was replaced, front to back, the slide removed and adjusted. The tech told us it was over 3" out of adjustment. They made the corrections and added a roller under the corner of the slide. We have a beautiful new floor throughout and no tearing issues.
NO is not an acceptable answer.

We have a 14 310RET and our slide just destroyed our floor. Waiting on the dealer to determine if they will cover it under warranty. We originally reported before the warranty expired and before the damage was severe. Now its ugly. And no, they never even checked the adjustments on the slide with previous complaint. Hoping for the best here as we have no other complaints about our baby or the dealer's service.

We called around and found a different dealer who was willing to do our warranty repairs before it is off warranty. This dealer told me that he contacted Keystone and all of our list, including some of the things that our purchasing dealer would not cover, are going to be addressed under warranty!! Hooray! He also found a couple things we had not noticed. He adjusted the slide and no more issues. Just goes to show you that all dealers are not equal and some do better work and actually care sometimes.

That sounds like great news for you. Amazing what different dealers can and will do.

Key to a happy RV purchase is a reliable customer oriented dealer. Sometimes the cheapest price is not the best buy. Good to hear you found a good dealer.
