Hickory veneer

Ok I have a 2010 Hickory edition Mountaineer. The Hickory veneer on the cabinets (not on the doors) just the areas around the doors is bubbling. Like the veneer is expanding. Anyone having this problem?

That's how we found the washer was leaking. Look for moisture from somewhere.

"That's how we found the washer was leaking. Look for moisture from somewhere." No the problem is both on the upper and lower cabinets. Also we keep it in Lake Havasu City AZ most of the year (Desert) with very low humidity. Guess I need to call Keystone on this one.

Maybe you don't have enough humidity if you're at Lake Havasu in July. At Lake Pleasant, AZ when most snowbirders leave their rig in storage they pay a person to visit their rig once a week to fill up buckets of water to combat the drying effect the lack of humidity has on the wall paper and wood. Wall paper starts to bubble and peel and the wood starts to crack from the excessive heat.

I wonder if Lynn is right on. We bought our trailer new in Tucson, it had sit on the dealers lot for almost a year. There were a couple areas of bubbling. During the PDI we caught them and of course complained. The tech warmed the bubbling area with a device that looked like a hair dryer, then smoothed it with a plastic blade tool. It worked, no problems since.
