Black water tank

Well, it seems like she has dropped her cel phone down the toilet. Does anyone have any ideas on how I get it out? It is a 2008 3295RK.

There is no way I know for you to get into the tank. Murf is right. Lots of water and hope it will flush out the discharge pipe. With my Sewer Solution hook up, I am able to capture something like that and remove it from the line. Of course the phone is a total loss.

Get some hardware cloth (1" or so) to cover the end of the hose to capture the phone. I would not trash the phone until I let it dry out for several days. Maybe even a oven on low. Those things are much more durable than you think. If you don't have a clear plastic connector this would be a good time to buy one.

Mother-In-Law dropped her's in the stick house toilet......fished it out and Verizon told her to take out battery and leave open in a jar of rice to try and dry it out....it worked! Wish you success...D

I don't care how dry you get a phone that has been in a black tank ...... It is going in the trash if it ever comes out of the tank. I just hope the thing does not block the drain. I'm still trying to visualize just how one would get a phone in a position to 'fall' into the black thank in the first place. If small children are involved that I can understand! But adults? That's a different story altogether. But good luck whatever happens. Please let us know how this all works out. Thanks, Dennis.

My only concern would be getting it out of the black tank. It would never be near my face again after it fell in.... others may be more attached to their phone.
