Mor ride suspension

Hello,
can someone explain the benefits of the new suspension that 06 Montana's are coming with?

Bruce & Belinda,
I wanted to say hello, glad to find another member from the area. The number of MOC members from the Spokane area is growing all the time. The MOR/ryde RE system works with the existing springs and axles but replaces the steel spring equalizer. The RE system uses rubber shear springs to isolate and absorb road shock and increase the dynamic travel of the leaf spring suspension. The result is a 30% improvement in damping of road shock. This means smoother towing and better protection of the trailer from damaging road shock. Again, Welcome aboard...

We had the original 6,000 lb axles and springs replaced by Mor/Ryde with their 7,000 lb axles with each wheel having independent suspension. Best $1800 ever spent. We've left cups on the sink and they have ridden 250 miles without moving. The ride is vastly improved with my axles. I don't know anything about the ones being talked about here.

Ya like that one Dave?? Here is a little more for ya.

MOR/ryde Independent Suspension System
The MOR/ryde IS system totally replaces the axles and springs to deliver premium performance. The IS system features independent wheel action and 5 ½" of suspension travel that allows each wheel to "walk over" road bumps. The result is exceptional towing smoothness. The IS system also features automotive style alignment and height adjustment. The IS system also allows for cost effective brake upgrades. Because installation of the IS system involves totally removing the axles, we can reinstall whatever brake size the customer wants. A number of brake sizes are available including 12 x 2, 12 ¼ x 2 ½, and 12 ¼ x 3 3/8. In addition, hydraulic or new disc brake upgrades are also available. The new Nev-R-Lube™ by Dexter™, a sealed cartridge bearing, is also available for select upgrades. The Nev-R-Lube™ bearing package features a 100,000 mile warranty and requires no maintenance.

We have talked in the past about the jacking point to service brakes and tires. I do'nt have the MOR/ryde axles but was wondering what you with the system do about rising the trailer?

Dave, I was just going to say that...

Dennis, there are some real experts that will be here shortly to answer that question.
