Mountaineer t.v. and stereo access

Hi everybody, I am new here, so please be patient with me.

We recently purchased a 2005 mountaineer fifth wheel 297rks. My question is how do I get access to the back of the tv and stereo. There seems to be no bolts or anything holding it it, but it will not move. I wanted to hook up a dvd player, but I cannot access the back of the TV.

Thanks for your help,

If it is like the ones they install in the Montanas, they are attached by long screws, from top and bottom. Open any cabinets above or below the TVv and look for screw heads. Sorry not familiar with your particular unit, so could be wrong.

Congrats on the new unit and welcome to the forum!

I have a 2004, 297RKS. Should be the same as yours.
There are 2 screws on the top and again 2 screws on the buttom of T.V. As said open up the cabinets and take a good look.
The same applies for the sterio.
Cheers.

Our Mountaineer did not come with a TV so it is not attached (the slide is so close it can't come out going down the road), but the sterio does have 2 screws coming up from the bottom of the cabinet. The trick is getting everything lined backed up when putting it back togather.

The Mountaineer we had at one time had the TV mounted in the cabinet by screws from below. I also found one from the top. When I replaced the TV, I just used the straps from CW that work much better. Good luck and welcome to the club.
