Screen Door issue

I keep having a problem with the weather strip afixed to the door frame for the screen door. The dealers have fixed it three times. It keeps getting mangled in the screen door hinge area.
Has anyone found a better material to use?

dcowie, sounds like the hinges need adjusting and more clearance to avoid hitting the weatherstripping when closing. See if you can move the hinges out from the frame some.

That also happened in our previous TT.My guess is the camper flexes.I just grabbed the Screen door and adjusted (read bent) it till it fit properly. Not very scientific..but it works..

Rich,

Us creative types prefer to describe your "adjustment technique" as the "artistic" approach.

We had to have our screen door adjusted during warranty fixes. Works much better now. I bet your door is out of adjustment.

If Rich's door is out of adjustment, then so is ours! But it closes well.
