Installed A Micro Air 364

We do a lot of boon-docking and I was reading about the Micro Air. I was skeptical about purchasing the Micro Air. WE do already have two Honda 2000's, but I figured where we can use the micro-wave or the coffee pot when the AC is running.
I did purchase the Micro Air, so yesterday, I installed it and did the five learning sessions. The installation was easy and I am not a electrician.
I hooked up one Honda 2000 to the power cord and it started the Coleman Mach 15,000 with no problem with the Econ Mode on. It ran about half throttle.
I then hooked both generators in parallel and started the AC. They were running at almost an idle.
I am very happy with the Micro Air so far and will not be hard to uninstall if we ever get a different RV. Thanks Micro Air!

Are you saying you have 2 A/C units that you ran on 2 Honda's?

I have 2 Yamaha 2000`s and they start and run both my 15k units on the new RD. I installed a Micro Air on each unit and you can hear the A/C fan and compressor ramp up then pop on works very nice. I used to use 3 Yamahas on the last camper to drive both A/C`s but with the Micro Air units ,don`t need but 2 now. Have one for sale 600.00 dollars.

I have had the Micro Air on my main AC for over a year now. I can run the main AC hooked up standard 110 volt house outlet and a 14GA 100 ft extension cord with the Micro Air. My Magnum Hybrid Inverter can run the main AC off of batteries (but you won't run long on batteries).

Okay for the last 17 years I have ran main ac units off of standard 110 outlet, on a variety of campers, WITHOUT a Micro Air. The outlet has a 20 amp breaker.

Interesting down in the comments section of the video it is mentioned that installing this will void your AC warranty.

Product was developed for rv and marine A/C applications to address the issue of getting them started while on a generator, house current piece of cake. I don`t care about warranty keeping the wife cool and happy while Boondocking has it benefits.

Not all houses have 12GA wiring. Around here we have 14GA wiring and 15 Amp breakers. Bottom line you what you want, but my inverter will get a fault with out, and puts undue stress on the system.

Ahh, but you did not say it was on a 15 amp breaker.
