Gas Furnace

We have a 2015 High Country. After turning the gas furnace on for the first time I noticed the bathroom floor was getting extremely warm. I'm sure the furnace is underneath this area, but is this normal?

Sounds like one of the foil tube ducts might have come off and hot air is blowing out and up. Don't have a h.c. but you should be able to see the back of the furnace via passthru area with back wall removed. At least I can on our model. John

Agree with John. It sounds like the duct work to your bathroom vent has come loose.

No safety issue, as suggested just airflow issue.

Agree with all above! Since you have a 2015 unit, it is still under warranty and if you are close enough to your dealer take it into them and have them investigate your problem. If you do not want to do that you'll have to take the wall out in the basement and see for yourself if it truly is a duct that was not connected or that has slipped off the vent. While you're checking might as well take a few cable ties with you to tidy up the wiring that has been run down there. You'll see what I mean when you get in there. Also take your shopvac with you so vacuum up all the extra sawdust down there! You'll see what I mean on that also!

You got to love the heated bathroom floor though! Agree with all the above.

On our 2014 Big Sky we had one of the foil vent tubes coming off the furnace cut in half (looked like someone from the factory stepped on it as they were exiting) and it was blowing hot air under the trailer...tanks were getting warm but the air flow to the vents inside the trailer was very low. I had to fix it because all Keystone wanted to to was to duct tape it.
